Synopsis

Silvertown is a multi character thriller set against the backdrop of illegal immigration in contemporary London.

A young Colombian widow flees her country’s devastating civil war and enters into a marriage of convenience with a British national who has a dangerous gambling debt. A heartbroken, black-cab driver plans revenge for his son’s murder as the young man guilty of the crime is released from prison. All of their fates are intertwined. Silvertown is a gritty, suspenseful drama that questions the value of life. Ultimately, it is a story about identity, redemption and the sacrifices some people are willing to make for their children.

The project is currently in development. Selected for Babylon 2012 feature film development scheme supported by BFI.
